Open to visitors seven days a week, Tieke Golf Estate invites you to experience one of New Zealand’s latest golfing destinations - a true riverbed masterpiece unlike anything else in the country.
Please note the course will be closed for scheduled coring on the following dates:
8 – 11 December 2025 | 23 – 26 March 2026 | 7 – 10 December 2026
Our greens typically return to excellent playing condition within 10 days of coring completion.

Dress Code
At Tieke Golf Estate, our goal is to create an inclusive and enjoyable environment for all golfers. While we encourage personal style, we also maintain a high standard of appropriate golf attire on the course and practice areas.
To uphold The Tieke Experience, we ask all golfers to wear appropriate golf attire while enjoying the course and practice facilities.
Acceptable Attire
Tailored shorts, sports trousers, or golf skirts/skorts
Collared golf shirts, performance sports tops, or golf-specific apparel
Golf shoes or athletic trainers with soft soles
Not Permitted
Beachwear, cargo shorts, or denim
Football jerseys, graphic t-shirts, or hoodies
Metal-spiked golf shoes (Tieke is a soft spike-only course)

Accommodation Recommendations
If you're planning an overnight stay while visiting Tīeke, we recommend a couple of great local options.
For those wanting to stay close to the action, Novotel Hamilton Tainui or ibis Hamilton Tainui are both excellent choices. Right in the heart of Hamilton CBD, they’re just a short walk to the casino, bars, restaurants, and the river – ideal if you're after a lively night out.
Prefer something quieter and more relaxed? Hidden Lake Hotel in Cambridge offers a calm, boutique experience in a charming riverside town – just 20 minutes from the course.
