Scott is a very experienced golf club manager having spent his entire career in various roles at clubs throughout NZ and Australia. Scott has held management roles at the Western Australia Golf Club, The Vines in Perth, and Omanu Golf Club at Mount Maunganui.

Scott has degrees in both Physical Education and Business and is currently studying for Certified Club Manager (CCM) qualification through the Club Management Association of America.
A current Board Member of the Club Managers Association of NZ, representing the interests of fellow golf managers and administrators while contributing to the strategic direction, professional standards, and industry advocacy of the association.
Richard Ellis is one of the most respected figures in Australasian golf, Richard was a director of the PGA Tour of Australasia for 15 years and served as New Zealand PGA President from 1995 to 2005.

Richard has been a golf professional for more than 35 years winning 14 professional tournaments; he played full time for twelve years on the Australasian, Asian and Pacific Tours.
In 1990 Richard set up his own golf course management company in New Zealand, Pacific Golf Management Ltd. This company has an exceptional track record for over 35 years including managing New Zealand’s busiest public course, Takapuna Golf Course in Auckland, overseeing the development and ongoing management of New Zealand’s first and very exclusive international designed golf facility at Gulf Harbour just north of Auckland city, and overseeing the design, construction, and ongoing management of Lakes Resort an 18 hole international Course at the seaside resort town of Pauanui.
Richard was instrumental in securing and organising the World Cup of Professional Golf for New Zealand in 1998. The event was staged at Gulf Harbour Country Club and show cased a world class field including John Daly, Nick Faldo, Padraig Harrington, Angel Cabera and Colin Montgomerie compete for what was at that time Australasia’s largest professional prize money purse of $3,000,000.
Richard and Pacific Golf Management is also one of Australasia’s leading event management, golf tour and tournament organisers. The company owns a number of its own events and is also contracted by many companies to organise pro-am tournaments and corporate golf events in Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific Islands, Hawaii and Asia.
Richard was awarded golf’s “International Goodwill Ambassador” trophy by the International Golf Association in 1998.
Richard Ellis was awarded Life membership of the New Zealand Professional Golfers Association in 2006 and honorary life membership of the PGA Tour of Australasia in 2007.
Reon Sayer is a certified member of the New Zealand PGA and a professional golf coach. Having enjoyed a successful amateur career with extensive experience as a New Zealand representative, he turned professional in 2000 and is a former member of the PGA Tour of Australasia.

Reon’s professional golf operations and coaching career began in 2004 at Lakes Resort Golf and Country Club in Pauanui. Reon was Senior Coach at the St Peter’s Golf Academy, Cambridge from 2007 to 2021, coaching and mentoring pupils to worldwide professional tours, New Zealand Amateur Championships, New Zealand representation, US College Scholarship recipients and adults of all levels to lower scores.
In 2009, Reon had a year sabbatical in China as Head Coach at the New Zealand China Golf Academy in Nanshan setting up its golf operations and coaching programmes. Reon is currently a New Zealand Golf development coach service provider and has been a New Zealand Golf International Teams Performance Manager since 2011.
Reon is held in high regard amongst his peers, has attention to detail and brings with him to Tieke Golf Estate extensive coaching and golf operations expertise.

With over 37 years in the greenkeeping industry, Jason brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to Tīeke Golf Estate. His career began at the renowned Wairakei International Golf Course, and since then, he’s been involved in some of New Zealand’s most significant course projects, including Windross Farm.

Jason played a key role in the transformation of Lochiel into Tīeke Golf Estate, serving as Course Construction Manager with Mahi Tahi Golf Projects before stepping into the role of Superintendent in 2022. His deep understanding of the course’s design, construction, and maintenance makes him uniquely placed to lead its continued development and presentation.
A former amateur standout representing NZ, professional golfer in the US and caddy on the US PGA tour, Jason brings a player’s eye to his work — ensuring the course is both challenging and rewarding. He remains a committed contributor to the advancement of the turf industry in Aotearoa and is highly respected by peers across the country.
