Part-Time | 12–15 hours per week
Tieke Golf Estate | Tamahere
Tieke Golf Estate is Waikato’s premier golf club, offering an exceptional golf, hospitality and member experience. We are seeking an organised, friendly and proactive individual to manage membership administration and assist in keeping club administration running smoothly.
This is primarily an office-based role, combining membership enquiries and records with sponsorship and general administrative support. You’ll contribute to a positive member experience through clear communication, accurate information and reliable follow-up.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Administration Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day membership administration, including processing applications, maintaining records and responding to enquiries by email and phone.
You’ll also support sponsorship, finance and general administration, working closely with our golf, hospitality, finance and marketing teams.
As a newly established role, this position offers the opportunity to help shape how it develops, improve processes and identify practical ways to support the club and its members.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing membership administration, including applications, renewals and maintaining accurate records.
Responding to member enquiries by email and phone, coordinating responses and following through to resolution.
Coordinating the administration of new memberships, ensuring members receive the information they need to get started.
Supporting sponsorship administration, including maintaining sponsor records, tracking agreed benefits and coordinating delivery with the relevant teams.
Supporting finance administration.
Assisting with general club administration, correspondence and database maintenance.
Providing administrative support for club events and member engagement initiatives.
Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and member service.
Working collaboratively with golf, hospitality, finance and marketing teams.
About You:
You’ll bring sound judgement, positive energy and a warm, approachable manner, paired with a strong focus on organisation and getting the details right. You’ll enjoy working through tasks independently, keeping information up to date and ensuring nothing gets missed.
Whether you’re returning to the workforce or looking for a rewarding part-time role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a valued contribution to the club.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
Previous administration experience.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of tasks and follow-up.
Experience with financial administration.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A friendly, professional approach to working with members and colleagues.
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Experience within a golf club, hospitality or membership-based organisation would be an advantage, but is not essential.
What We Offer:
A varied and rewarding role within Waikato’s premier golf club.
A supportive and collaborative team environment.
The opportunity to shape a newly created position.
Flexible part-time hours in an office setting overlooking the golf course.
Hours:
12–15 hours per week, ideally across Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
Flexibility to discuss a regular working pattern that fits around family and other commitments.
Some flexibility will be required to support club events and peak periods.
If you bring positive energy, enjoy being organised and take pride in keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.
